School Uniform/Clothing

The School has a basic uniform based on the colours RED BLACK and GREY.  We aim to avoid the necessity of anyone buying expensive specialised clothing.  Parents are asked if possible to provide a change of footwear during bad weather.  Children may wear long trousers/slacks to School but not jeans.

Suggested uniform:

    Boys
     Grey or black trousers (not jeans please)
     white or red shirt
    Red sweater/sweatshirt/cardigan

     Girls
     Grey or black trousers or skirt or pinafore dress
    White or red gingham blouse
     Red gingham summer dress
     Red sweater/sweatshirt/cardigan

Children are expected to change for physical activities.  Physical education, dance or games cannot be undertaken in long trousers or everyday shoes.

Every child must be equipped with a pair of plimsolls or light trainers, shorts and

T shirt for indoor activities plus outdoor games clothing suitable for the activity.

School garments are available from the school office.  Orders for embroidered (school name) sweaters, cardigans and sweatshirts are taken at least once per term.
Present costs are: Sweaters and Sweatshirts £8, Cardigans £10.50.

Parents are asked to ensure that all articles of clothing and footwear are clearly marked with the child's name.

A large apron or old adult size shirt is most useful as an overall for all art/craft work.
